The garage door rumbles open
An enemy pricks its head
They start swooping at me
I instantly know I’m dead
They let ear splitting cries
Their feathers grey and white
Their claws as sharp as daggers
It’s an absolutely terrifying sight
I sprint towards the bucket
The one that holds the feed
I throw a scoop of the stuff
I’m safe, that’s all I need.
