These are two poems that I wrote while David Eggleton was here.
Pegasus
Imagine her wings,
Letting her glide,
Imagine her coat,
Making her shine,
Imagine her mane,
Pearly white,
Imagine her tail,
Swishing in flight,
Imagine her eyes,
Sparkling in light,
Imagine her flying,
Into the dark night.
Imagine her leaping,
and imagine her sleeping,
Imagine her gliding into the moonlight.
Untitled
Imagine a hawk,
flying
Imagine a leopard,
leaping
Imagine a dog,
barking,
Imaging a horse,
frolicking,
Imagine a cat,
sleeping,
Imagine being one of these animals, no
Imagine one of these animals,
playing,
Making your laugh,
keeping you smiling.
