What ever got into Rachel? When we were younger, we were best friends, inseparable. Always there for each other, at least, until year 6. Popular for some reason, we seemed to rule the school! But then Rachel started drifting away, never wanting to have anything to do with me, and that hurt me a lot. What else could I do, I could see only one option. That was the moment that I became the one, the leader off all my friends. They always tugged me away from. Rachel, consequently at home she was as cold as ice. To me. Not to anyone else.
Hey, it wasn't my fault that. I was a genius, or good at sports. Now in year 8, I was back to ruling the school, without Rachel. Trying to get over her and have some fun wasn't as easy as I thought. But I did it somehow.
That was then, though. This is now...
Rachel dyed her hair, and exercised sooo much that I thought her legs would drop off! At school, we expected her to mope around as per usual, but she surprised us all! Joining in with is like she used to, it was like Rachel was trying to be me! In fact, she was better at being me that I was. Very slowly and subtlety, all my friends started floating away from me, and closer to Rachel. It drove me CRAZY! Excuses being made, excuses like 'Family Thing', 'I'm busy' or just plain 'No!' or 'Go Away!'
Tables turned, I needed to talk to Rachel and get things back to where they were - BEFORE we became separate.
