The eerie sound of silence was throbbing through my brain as I cautiously treaded my way over the rotting wood and golden brown leaves. The only sound to be heard was the occasional chirp of a of a bird and the crunching of my feet benath me. I had only thought for a split second that I was safe, until I heard the rumbling of an engine and the sound of men yelling. The forest was dappled with rays of sunlight as I began to run as fast as my frozen feet would take me. Even though I knew I was going to get caught, it was the least I could do. As the sun went down behind the the hill, the men's torchlights began to flick on as they sprinted behind me. My heartbeat got quicker by the second as I had no choice but to surrender and slow my pace. "Stop right there!!"
