My hands clasp the hot cup of earl grey tea letting the warmth envelope me. Such pleasures are so rare and far apart they feel like gold. The country is wrought with guns and explosions all day and night. I am so cold there is no warmth unless you light a fire which means certain death. These shelters are the only place to get food and hot drinks and even them can only use a tiny little gasoline stove. Everyone is packed in all clammering for food and drink the women in the kitchen are totally stressed out I am about to go and help them once I have finished my cup of tea I better stop writing in my diary a bunch of soldiers have just come in and are throwing belongings around I better tuck it under the loose floorboard.
